Brooklyn-based artist Carina Allen, known as rlyblonde, has released the music video for her latest single, “Dumb Blonde“. This new visual marks another milestone for her, who directed and produced the video through her production company, HOT CREATIVE.
The “Dumb Blonde” music video is a testament to rlyblonde‘s multifaceted talent. Fans familiar with her previous work will find delight in the Easter eggs scattered throughout the video, which include props from earlier projects and clever nods to past releases. The video also breaks the fourth wall, blending fantasy with reality and showcasing Allen’s unique approach to storytelling.
Directing and producing my own videos is such an integral part of making music for me. I’m not just writing songs, I’m building an entire visual world for people to escape into.

Having made a name for herself as a photographer, videographer, and creative director for various indie acts in New York, rlyblonde redefined her artistic identity in 2023 with the debut EP Fantasy. Alongside this release, she delivered five self-directed music videos and performed at some of New York City’s most iconic venues. Her work has captured the attention of key tastemakers, including The Luna Collective and Unpublished Magazine.
Eager to push the boundaries of her artistry, rlyblonde has been collaborating with producer Robbie Guariglia, known for his work with The Veronicas, Oh Honey, and Native Sun. Together, they are crafting a new chapter in her musical journey.
