Adele Expresses Heartfelt Gratitude to Munich Fans After Concluding 10-Show Residency: ‘It Was the Time of My Life’

Adele wrapped up her 10-night residency at Munich’s custom-built Messe München stadium on August 31 with heartfelt gratitude to her fans. The British singer shared a touching note on social media, expressing her amazement at the experience. “Wow! Wow! Wow!” she began, reflecting on her time in the German city, where she performed to more than 730,000 fans over two weeks in the largest temporary arena ever constructed. The stadium, which held 80,000 people, served as a unique setting for the highly anticipated shows.

“Munich, you were incredible! What a phenomenal experience,” Adele wrote. “I am truly touched by the genuine outpouring of love and goodwill from every single person who came to every single show. It was the best vibes all around.” She went on to express how moved she was by the energy of the crowd, emphasizing how special the residency was. “I’ve never seen anything like these shows; it was truly spectacular, and I am beyond honored to have been asked to do them.”

The 36-year-old singer has been on an extensive performance schedule, but she recently revealed plans to take a much-needed break after finishing her Las Vegas residency. She will return to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on October 25 for the final 10 shows of her “Weekends with Adele” residency, concluding on November 23. After that, she plans to step away from the stage for a while, giving herself time to recharge.

Adele reflected on the personal nature of the Munich shows, saying she felt deeply connected to the performances. “I hope those of you who came had the best time at ‘Adele World,’” she wrote. “I had the time of my life adding all the personal and immersive touches to it.” Her shows in Munich were known for their intimate atmosphere, despite the enormous crowd size, as Adele made a point of interacting with fans and creating memorable moments on stage.

The singer also took the time to thank her team for their hard work in making the residency a success. “I’m overwhelmingly proud of my entire team and teammates. Thank you as always for making me look so f–king good,” she said. “There truly is no feeling like standing in front of people you’ve never met, belting out a bunch of songs that changed your life that in ways somehow changed theirs too.”

Adele shared a video compilation alongside her message, featuring highlights from the performances. The 80-second clip, set to her song “When We Were Young,” captured the emotional connection between Adele and her audience. It included moments of fans interacting with the singer on stage, cheering, and enjoying the immersive experience. The video ended with Adele sharing a personal reflection: “I will remember these shows for eternity and I will really, really hold them in the bottom of my heart forever.”

The residency in Munich marked yet another chapter in Adele’s career, further solidifying her reputation as one of the most powerful and captivating performers in the world. As she prepares for her upcoming Las Vegas shows, Adele’s Munich performances will remain a memorable milestone for both her and her fans.
