While some people enjoy a calm boat tour or a fun ride on a banana boat during their vacation, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom took their adventure to another level. Instead of sticking to the usual activities, the couple decided to jump out of a helicopter into the ocean during a recent getaway.
Perry shared the daring moment on Instagram on Monday, posting photos and a video of the couple preparing for and then making the leap. The video, set to her latest single “Lifetimes,” shows them getting pumped up before taking the plunge. In the caption, Katy Perry quoted lyrics from the song, which has a carefree, summer vibe, similar to the clip. “Like the stars are in the sky / You and I will find each other / In every single life,” she wrote, tying the jump to the romantic theme of the track.
This adventurous leap isn’t too surprising for Bloom, who has been known to push his limits. In his recent Peacock series, Orlando Bloom: To The Edge, he tackled various challenges, including a wingsuit flight, a deep-sea free dive in the Bahamas, and climbing a 400-foot tower in Utah.
The couple, who started dating in 2016 and got engaged in 2019, share a three-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove. Perry also used the post to remind fans of her upcoming 11-track album 143, set to release on September 20. The album will include “Lifetimes,” her previous single “Woman’s World,” and tracks like “I’m His He’s Mine,” “Crush,” and “Nirvana.” Additionally, there are three songs with undisclosed features, “Gorgeous,” “Gimme Gimme,” and “Artificial.”
