Kendall Jenner has graced the cover of Vogue Italia Magazine‘s April 2023 edition, photographed by Robin Galiegue at MAP. Styled by Kate Phelan at CLM Agency, Kendall wore pieces from top brands such as Max Mara, Dior, Loewe, and more. The shoot also featured beauty work by Lucas Wilson, Sam Visser, and Yoko Sakakura.
In the accompanying interview, Kendall opened up about the toll that fame has taken on her mental health, revealing that she has been battling anxiety and panic attacks. She has previously discussed this on her family’s reality shows, Keeping Up With The Kardashians and The Kardashians. The model has even had to skip some fashion week shows in the past due to social anxiety.
While the beginning of 2023 was emotionally turbulent for Kendall, she expressed that she is now in a better place. She shared with Vogue Italia, “Coming out on the other side and feeling optimistic is always reassuring. Everything is temporary, and I feel incredibly grateful and happy. Ready for what’s to come this year!”
Kendall also had advice for others who may be struggling with their mental health. “I would love to remind everyone that progress in mental health takes time, and to keep practicing healthy habits to work towards your goal or goals,” she said.
The Vogue Italia cover shoot showcases Kendall’s ability to work the camera and highlights her status as a top model. Her vulnerability in discussing her mental health struggles is also important as it helps to destigmatize mental health issues and encourages others to seek help.
