SZA to Grace the Stage at the 2024 Grammy Awards This Weekend

SZA has been added to the stellar lineup of performers for the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. The announcement, made last night via the Recording Academy’s official channels, has sparked heightened anticipation for a showstopping performance from the acclaimed singer.

The Grammy Awards ceremony, scheduled for February 4, 2024, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, promises an evening of musical brilliance with an array of renowned performers. Joining the likes of Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, Burna Boy, and others, SZA’s inclusion adds to the star-studded cast set to grace the stage. Notably, U2 will deliver a unique performance via the first-ever live broadcast from the Sphere in Las Vegas.

SZA, a frontrunner in this year’s Grammy nominations, leads the pack with an impressive nine nods, encompassing prestigious categories such as Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. Victoria Monét and Phoebe Bridgers closely follow with seven nominations each, while artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, and Miley Cyrus have secured six nominations, including a coveted spot in the Album of the Year category.

Despite accumulating a total of 15 Grammy nominations over the years, SZA has only clinched victory once, as a featured artist on Doja Cat‘s ‘Kiss Me More’ at the 2022 ceremony. In a revealing interview following the release of ‘SOS’, SZA candidly described the Grammy atmosphere as a “thirsty, dark space,” highlighting the intense desire for recognition and validation within the industry.

While fans eagerly await SZA’s live performance at the Grammys, the artist has been teasing the release of the ‘Lana’ deluxe edition of her album ‘SOS’, initially announced in September.
