In a sudden turn of events, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker had to cut short his tour to attend to an urgent family matter back in the United States. The band made the announcement on September 1, stating that they were canceling several upcoming shows due to the unforeseen situation.
Among the shows affected was their Glasgow performance scheduled for that day, along with their Belfast and Dublin shows, all of which had to be postponed. As Barker rushed back home, it was revealed that his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, who is expecting their first child together, had to be taken to the hospital for an undisclosed emergency.
Photos obtained by MailOnline captured the couple leaving the hospital on September 2, as they were escorted into a black SUV. While both Barker and Kardashian have maintained their silence on the matter in the public eye, a source reported to People that Kardashian is now “back home with her kids” and that she is “feeling better.” The source also mentioned her happiness at having Travis back home.
Over the weekend, Barker shared a series of pictures on his Instagram Story, one of which featured a sign reading ‘Prayer Room,’ believed to be at Glasgow airport. He also posted images of a stained glass window inside a chapel, accompanied by a tapestry with the message ‘Together We Pray.’
Kardashian had previously announced her pregnancy during a Blink-182 concert in June, cleverly referencing a moment reminiscent of the band’s iconic 1999 music video for ‘All The Small Things.’
Regarding Travis Barker‘s return to Europe and the rescheduling of their tour dates, Blink-182 assured fans that more information would be provided as soon as it becomes available. These highly anticipated shows marked the trio’s first performances in the UK and Ireland since the return of Tom DeLonge to the pop-punk lineup.
