Following Drake’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” video, shot on location at Nike WHQ, and the release of the “Certified Lover Boy” album merchandise capsule, Drake and Nike launch a new sub-label, NOCTA.
NOCTA’s design cues are informed by Drake’s desire to create “the hardest” garments possible, yielding a premium sporty uniform for individuals on the go. “Just the best of that world,” the rapper said in a statement. “To be associated with the highest level possible — that was always my goal.”
Nike describes NOCTA as a “collection for the collective.” While drawing heavily from sport, the line ultimately finds inspiration from those on the go. To outfit the movers and shakers, NOCTA offers functional and comfortable everyday essentials, which harken back to Nike’s evolution over the years.
Price range is $400 for the puffer jacket, to $120 for the hoodie, $110 for the fleece pant, and $30 for the crew socks, Drake and Nike’s first NOCTA collection launches December 19 at 10 a.m. through Nike.
