Taylor Swift has treated fans to a new deluxe version of her 10th album ‘Midnights,’ titled ‘Midnights (Til Dawn Edition),‘ featuring exciting additions such as an Ice Spice remix of ‘Karma‘ and a re-recorded version of ‘Snow On The Beach’ with “more” Lana Del Rey.
The expanded edition was released on May 26 at midnight ET 5 am BST. Apart from the Ice Spice and Lana Del Rey tracks, the digital edition includes ‘Hits Different,’ which was previously exclusive to the Target version of the album.
Fans attending Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras‘ US tour in East Rutherford will have the opportunity to purchase a special edition CD that includes a previously unheard ‘Midnights’ vault track called ‘You’re Losing Me.’ Swift announced the deluxe edition in a tweet on May 24 and praised Ice Spice as a “brilliant artist,” confirming that she is someone to watch closely. She also expressed her excitement about the collaboration with Lana Del Rey, stating that they went back to the studio to record more of Lana’s vocals on ‘Snow On The Beach.’
Just hours after the initial release of ‘Midnights‘ in October, Swift surprised fans with a deluxe edition, adding an additional seven tracks to the album.
Earlier this year, Lana Del Rey shared that she wished she had sung the entire second verse on her collaborative track with Swift, ‘Snow On The Beach.’ In an interview with Billboard, she discussed her involvement in the song and expressed that she would have played a bigger part had she known she was the only featured artist on the track. Del Rey’s focus was primarily on the production of the song as a featured artist on Swift’s album.
Um. SO much to tell you. I’m a massive fan of this brilliant artist and after getting to know her I can confirm: she is THE ONE to watch. So delighted to say that Karma Featuring the incredible @icespicee_ will be out TOMORROW night at MIDNIGHT ET as a part of the new Midnights… pic.twitter.com/OaRrHBWTUw

During her ‘Eras’ tour, Swift recently debuted the live performance of ‘I Think He Knows‘ at one of her shows on May 21. The next scheduled stop on the tour is the Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where she will perform three consecutive concerts from May 26 to May 28.
In other news, Stevie Nicks expressed gratitude to Taylor Swift for writing the song ‘You’re On Your Own, Kid,’ which captures Nicks’ emotions about the loss of her late Fleetwood Mac bandmate, Christine McVie.
