Singer-songwriter Noah Cyrus shocked fans on Thursday evening with an eerie new single, “I Burned LA Down,” and a music video!
Cyrus uncovered that her songwriting was driven by her own heartbreak, as well as the world’s retribution with a dangerous global warming.
“I’m so proud of this song and video. there’s nothing i love more than writing such personal, meaningful music with people i love,” Cyrus wrote in the post about the clip for the acoustic tear-jerker, which finds her donning a blood red dress and matching face mask and a flowing black gothic gown as she stands amid the flames and floating embers of a burning barn.
With the release of ‘I Burned LA Down,’ comes a breath-taking and cinematic official music video, directed by Actual Objects and inspired by the art-house films she so loves.
