Paulina Drops Sophomore EP ‘everything’s still’

Pop sensation Paulina has released her highly anticipated sophomore EP, everything’s still. Available now on all streaming platforms, this new EP features three introspective tracks—“stranger,” “funny (interlude),” and “a song I wrote”—which explore the emotional aftermath of a significant breakup.

The EP’s title is inspired by a line from Noah Kahan’s song “The View Between Villages,” reflecting Paulina’s own journey of emotional recovery and renewal. The lead single, “stranger,” delves into the pain of seeing a former lover transform into a stranger. The second track, “funny (interlude),” captures the turbulence of moving on, while the final song, “a song I wrote,” offers a poignant yet defiant conclusion to the breakup narrative.

“The final song on the EP is about questioning whether or not the person still thinks about you. And it’s the realization that even if they don’t admit it, you know there will always be things that remind them of you — like the song you wrote that you know they’ll be listening to. It’s a sassy, mic drop conclusion to the breakup story.”
