Taylor Swift is “completely in shock” after a stabbing attack at a dance class celebrating her music in Southport, England, which left three children dead and eight others injured. Swift expressed her grief on Instagram, stating, “The loss of life and the trauma inflicted on everyone there is unimaginable.”
A 17-year-old boy from Cardiff was arrested following the incident at the community center, where police seized a knife. The suspect is in custody on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the attack “deeply shocking.”
Witnesses reported seeing bloodied children fleeing the center, where the event promised “a morning of Taylor Swift-themed yoga, dance, and bracelet making.” Two children died on Monday, and a third succumbed to injuries on Tuesday. The victims were girls aged six and seven. Eight other children and two adults were injured, with several in critical condition.
Police believe the adults were trying to protect the children.
