As we gear up for another fantastic Pride month this June, Cara Delevingne is jumping into the celebration early with a sizzling campaign for Calvin Klein that left us totally stunned.
The 31-year-old model and actor takes the spotlight in the fashion brand’s fresh ‘This Is Love’ campaign, revealed through a flurry of images dropped just May 29th. One shot shows Cara flaunting her confidence, going topless and flexing her biceps while modestly covering up. Rocking a pair of jeans and Calvin Klein’s signature undies, she’s the epitome of chic.
The Insta buzz exploded with the collab post between Cara and Calvin Klein, urging us all to “Live your truth. This is Love @caradelevingne in the new Pride campaign. Captured by @gvsgvs .” Calvin Klein proudly continues their support for @ilgaworld and @translawcenter in their fight for LGBTQIA+ rights and safety.
And in a clip shared by Calvin Klein featuring the campaign, Cara dances with pure joy, leaving us all grinning ear to ear.
The Insta post received a ton of love, with nearly 300,000 likes and a flood of comments, including a sweet shoutout from Cara’s pal and fellow model Gigi Hadid who simply wrote: “Gorgeousness.” Fans couldn’t stop praising the image, calling it “powerful and beautiful” and “iconic.”
In an exclusive chat with People, Cara spilled the beans on what being part of the campaign meant to her, sharing her admiration for her fellow members in the queer community.
She said, “Love, to me, is the whole shebang of life: the ups, the downs, the pretty, the not-so-pretty. It’s like a life lesson, teaching you about yourself. Nowadays, young folks are owning who they are without any apologies, which is so inspiring. Back in my day, I was scared to embrace my true self, but seeing the freedom in today’s youth lights a fire in me.”
“There’s still a lot to tackle, but seeing the strength of the queer community keeps me motivated.”
