Alex Cooper, known as the charismatic host of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, recently gave fans a glimpse into her opulent wedding ceremony held on the Northeastern coast of Mexico. Sharing first-look images from the intimate affair, Cooper revealed moments from her special day, which took place earlier this month.
After a whirlwind engagement spanning just over a year, Cooper, celebrated presenter, social media influencer, and fashion icon, tied the knot with producer Matt Kaplan. True to her reputation as a style maven, Cooper’s wedding ensembles exuded effortless sophistication and timeless charm.
In an exclusive interview with Vogue, the 29-year-old shared insights into her bridal attire journey, admitting to feeling initially overwhelmed by the search for the perfect wedding dress. Eventually, inspiration struck when she stumbled upon a design by Danielle Frankel on Pinterest.
“I immediately sent it to Mimi [her stylist Mimi Cutrell] and asked her to get me the dress as I needed to try it on ASAP,” Cooper recounted. “I had a feeling the pearl off-white color and the vintage, yet modern elements would be a perfect match for me. The minute I tried it on I knew we had found what I was looking for.”
Collaborating with Frankel, Cooper customized the gown to reflect her unique style, opting for a slightly altered neckline and drop waist. With the dream dress secured, Cooper noted that the rest of her wedding looks effortlessly fell into place.
In line with contemporary bridal trends, Cooper embraced the concept of multiple outfit changes for her special day. For the post-ceremony festivities, she slipped into a vintage Alexander McQueen dress, a choice that left her and her entourage in awe.
“Again, the minute I tried it on I knew,” Cooper reminisced. “Everyone in the room was silent, and we all just stared at each other in shock. It is one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever worn in my life.”
Yet, Cooper’s wedding style journey extended beyond the ceremony itself. Preceding the main event, she dazzled in another creation by Danielle Frankel, adorned with pearls, for a pre-wedding soirée at a speakeasy-style venue. The night before exchanging vows, Cooper opted for a vintage Donna Karan dress, setting the tone for the glamorous affair that awaited.
