Halsey is Teasing Her Fifth Album

After a hiatus following the 2021 release of her album “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power,” produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails, Halsey has resurfaced with a promising update for her dedicated fan base. The acclaimed artist recently took to a live video broadcast on December 12 to share insights about her upcoming fifth album.

In a candid revelation, Halsey expressed her eagerness to delve into the intricacies of her forthcoming musical endeavor. She acknowledged the challenge of encapsulating the essence of the project verbally, emphasizing the importance of allowing her audience to experience it firsthand. The artist conveyed a mix of excitement and nerves, drawing parallels to the pre-release anticipation she felt before unveiling “Badlands.”

During the live session, she teased, “Yeah, I’m super excited but I’m also super nervous about it… super nervous about it… in a good way, in a nervous excitement way, like how I felt before I put out Badlands. I think you guys are going to love it, I do.”

Providing a glimpse into the thematic core of the album, Halsey disclosed that it won’t be a collection centered around positive emotions. Instead, she hinted at a shared exploration of the more challenging aspects of human experience. She remarked, “The album is not about feeling good. […] The album is about feeling bad, but about feeling bad together.”

Building on the anticipation, it was revealed last month that Halsey is set to co-headline Lollapalooza India alongside the Jonas Brothers and Sting in January 2024, raising speculation that new music might accompany her presence on this esteemed stage. As fans await the unveiling of this new chapter in Halsey’s musical journey, the artist’s words evoke a sense of curiosity and excitement for what lies ahead.
