Can you tell us about the inspiration behind “All Night” and what drove you to create a song that captures the bond shared between two people meeting for the first time?
I was inspired by Selena Gomez’s song “Slow Down.” Summer was coming up and I just wanted to make something that people will hear and just dance the night away. Honestly, it was just something that came to mind. In the back of my head, I was thinking that someone has been through that same experience, as I have. In fact, I just literally lived through a similar one myself a couple of weeks ago.
The new release combines R&B and Latin Pop sounds with bilingual lyrics. How do you feel this fusion enhances the overall message and impact of the song?
The reason I decided to write “All Night” in English with some bilingual lyrics was because as an artist I wanted my followers to know I can do both and I wanted the world to know that I am a diverse independent singer and songwriter. For that reason, I know this song will have a big impact because of the diversity that it already has.
The repeated phrase “All Night” in the chorus acts as a powerful mantra. How did you come up with this phrase, and what significance does it hold for you personally?
My mom usually helps me come up with the title of my songs, as I was writing, I always ask her what she thinks and what title could fit or be catchy. During that same process I needed something repetitive with a good rhythm, having in mind that summer was coming as well. “All Night” was perfect, it sounds catchy.
In the song, you mention embracing the present and surrendering to destiny. How does this theme resonate with your own experiences and journey as an artist?
So far in my journey as an independent artist, it hasn’t been easy, but I have learned to cherish every second of it, good or bad, because it has taken me to where I am at this moment, trusting in myself, and knowing that everything that happens is for a reason. But it’s a process and it’s all in good timing. That is why I have to embrace the opportunity that I’ve been given and enjoy every second of it, because I will never know if I will ever get opportunities like this again. But at the same time, knowing that if I just surrender my plans and not stress out about the future, everything will work out the way it needs to. That’s enough for me to keep my mind in peace and it helps me enjoy every step of this part of my life.
“All Night” exudes an uninhibited essence and inspires listeners to embrace freedom. How do you hope this song will empower your fans and encourage them to live life to the fullest?
I hope this song will empower my fans in a way that they can understand that we only live once, enjoy every second of the day, and take risks, because later in life you don’t want to have regrets and ask yourself “What if.” So, live your life the way you want to live it because you only have one.
Can you give us a glimpse into what we can expect visually from the upcoming music video for “All Night” and how it complements the song’s energy?
All I can say about the music video for “All Night” is that it’s going to be amazing. It’s just a good vibe, with the bright light, people laughing, and everyone having a good time. It complements the song’s energy by giving you guys a visual of how a fun night can take an unexpected turn for the better.
We learned that you have plans to establish a non-profit organization for underprivileged children. How do you envision your music and philanthropic efforts working together to make a positive impact on a global scale?
I envision my music and philanthropic effort working together, merging them together, my music will help enhance the success of the organization. Hopefully, through my music, I will be able to grow my following which would allow me to reach more people on a global scale and impact people’s lives. My music will allow me to have the resources that I need to make the organization successful and help kids in need.
