“Perfect” is the latest release from fast-rising star Moncrieff. The Irish singer-songwriter, who grew popular with tracks like “Warm,” “I’m With You,” and “Ruin,” has outdone himself yet again with this new single that reasserts the artist’s indisputable talent and musicality.
The up-and-comer breaks down the story behind the track’s deeply felt lyrics, “It can be so hard to admit that something just isn’t right in a relationship and, despite your loyalty and care towards each other, sometimes good things come to an end.”
“Perfect” is a “very personal song for me about all those small moments in a relationship that make you realise that something isn’t as perfect as it once felt,” explains Moncrieff, who has caught the attention of industry legends such as Avicii and Elton John, who has named him the “one to watch.”
