Camilo and Grupo Firme launch ‘Alaska’, a fun song about heartbreak

Miami/Colombian singer and songwriter Camilo launches his new single titled “Alaska” together with the outstanding regional Mexican group, Grupo Firme, a song that overflows with fun and joy, which is now available on all digital platforms.

In their first collaboration together, Camilo and Grupo Firme present a fun theme, which tells the story of a heartbreak, using an ingenious play on words to the rhythm of the Mexican regional genre.

I love beautiful and transparent people like Grupo Firme. Making a song with them was something that challenged me and made me very adventurous,” Camilo said in a statement.

“Living his process in the studio was quite an experience, we had a lot of fun and I think that the atmosphere we experienced when recording is felt in the song. I am very happy and for me it is another dream come true that they are part of my new album”, he added.

For his part, Eduin Caz, leader of Grupo Firme, stressed “that the time he was walking down a corridor in a Las Vegas hotel, he and “the plebes” (Grupo Firme) managed to recognize this person with excess energy from a distance. and good vibes: Camilo.

Remember that the click was immediate; they chanted and exchanged verses, on the one hand, Firme singing by Camilo and on the other, vice versa. It was there that without saying much, they decided that they should add talents to create something new. This is how “Alaska” was born, synonymous with joy, fun, passion, union and party”.

The video for “Alaska”, which is now available on Camilo’s official YouTube channel, was directed by Evaluna Montaner and filmed in Miami, Florida in early August.

Camilo’s fans will be able to enjoy “Alaska” and all his hits live during his successful international tour “De Adentro Pa Afuera Tour”, which will begin its second phase in the United States this coming August 27 in New York, to then continue with your tour of the main cities of the country, Canada and Puerto Rico.
