The WYZE’s new track Something About It is OUT NOW!
The Wyze was originally formed in Toronto by Chase and Chris, best known for ‘Passengers Side”, released in 2020. Chase and Chris met in Miami during Miami Music Week and became the best of friends making all of their music out of their home studios in the West End of Toronto.
The group merged distinct musical qualities that Chase and Chris developed prior to The Wyze. Chris was an accomplished Producer and DJ from the duo “Exit Friendzone” known for remixes for “Martin Garrix & Madison Beer”, while Chase was doing session work as a pianist, vocalist, and honing his skills as an indie rock producer.
The Wyze opened 2021 by releasing their debut EP “Faded Gold”. Later in the summer of 2021 “The Wyze” added the talent of Yaakov Gruzman to the group. “Yash” is a Platinum Certified writer/mixer/producer and was nominated for a Juno for Dance Recording of the year in 2017. Coincidentally Yash also met Chris in Miami, the same week that Chris met Chase. Yash was in the city to hear his new single debuted by “Oliver Heldens & Shaun Frank” on the MainStage of Ultra Music Festival. Also coincidentally, Chase was just a few steps away watching his sister “Kiesza” perform on the live stage.
