Tom Did It is back, dropping a fresh single “Real Life” featuring Zakhar. The track is available now on all streaming platforms, accompanied by an official video. This release follows the success of his debut single “Stupid Love,” which garnered significant attention, especially from DJ Target on BBC 1Xtra.
“Real Life” blends Tom Did It’s signature rap with a laid-back indie pop vibe, delivering a story that resonates deeply with listeners. The song showcases Tom’s artistic range, with melodic beats setting the scene for his heartfelt vocals. The lyrics dive into the complexities of young love and heartbreak, offering a raw and authentic portrayal.
Reflecting on the creation of “Real Life,” Tom Did It shared, “This was the first time I worked with 169 and Zakhar as a collective, but I had worked with 169 before and knew we could create something special. We completed three songs in that session. We vibe well together, sharing similar experiences and stages in our careers. We’re the next generation navigating the industry and real life.”
At just 20 years old, Tom Did It has already made a significant impact, collaborating with notable artists such as Chip, Imanbek, Sigala, and Nafe Smallz. His talent and dedication have established him as a versatile artist, engineer, and producer. Recently, he was featured on Nafe Smallz’s project “L.O.V.E,” released in February, and is set to perform at the All Points East festival this August.
