Rihanna has set a new record on Twitter, surpassing Katy Perry as the most followed woman on the social media platform. According to SocialBlade, Rihanna has 108,278,326 followers, while Perry has 108,261,949. However, Rihanna still has a few million followers to go to surpass Justin Bieber as the most followed musician on the platform, who currently has 113,156,831 followers.

Rihanna holds the fourth-highest follower count on Twitter, behind Elon Musk, Barack Obama, and Justin Bieber. Other musicians in the top ten include Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande, who are ranked seventh and tenth, respectively.
This achievement is just one of many for Rihanna this year. She played the Super Bowl Halftime Show, announced she is expecting her second child with ASAP Rocky, and performed at the Oscars with her song “Lift Me Up” from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, which was also nominated for an award.
Rihanna’s success is not limited to her music career. She was the only female musician to make Forbes’ Billionaire List this year, with an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion. Her wealth comes from her music, partnerships, and her Fenty Beauty empire. Jay-Z and Jimmy Buffett were the only other two performers to make the list.
