After Black Panther: Wakanda Forever became a huge success, people started wondering when the third instalment will be made. The first appearance of MCU’s Black Panther was in 2016, the solo film didn’t come out till 2018. And it wasn’t until in 2022 that the sequel was finally released in theatres.
A lot of uncertainty and curiosity came with the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman, playing a decisive role in wanting to see the second part. Now that everyone knows the legitimate successor of Black Panther, people are eagerly waiting for the third film in the saga. Although it is not confirmed, it seems clear that it will end up happening.
Letitia Wright, who plays the role of Princess Shuri, has shed some light by giving the first details about the anticipated film. On the carpet of the 2023 Golden Globes, Variety asked about whether the third movie is in the making, the actress replied: “We just had a terrific two years of bringing it out, and everybody just coming together to support it, we need a little bit of a break, we need to regroup…”
Disney still hasn’t officially confirmed, but according to Wright the third part is already in the works.
