Renowned artist Resse P drops a hot new single and music video “Rum Chata”, one that perfectly compliments the holiday season, at the same time representing Resse’s style to the T. The music video for “Rum Chata” was directed by EXQLUSIVE, and depicts the artist with her girls, enjoying a drink at the ultimate Christmas party with the must-have ugly sweaters on. What a joy to hear a Christmas song that doesn’t feel cliché, but instead makes good use of hip-hop and pop fusion, lending the piece authenticity and uniqueness.
A talented and hard-working artist, Resse’s music and voice have been compared to the likes of Alicia Keys and Mariah Carrey, of course, this comes with a signature style and a vibrant character that is all her own. “I came up with the idea one holiday season, because I love RumChata and eggnog. My producer is extremely creative with his melodies, so when I heard the beat, the melody for ‘Rum Chata’ just rang out. Knowing how big holiday jingles can be, when I got great feedback, I was inspired to keep writing it into what it is today,” Resse P shared about her inspiration.
