Following “Terminator” and “Give Them Hell,” Polartropica returns with a seductive new single titled “What’s Your Fantasy.” Released via Coconut Spaceship Records, the dreamlike track incorporates ground-breaking psychedelic synths that ignite the senses and give the listeners something to look forward to.
Speaking of “What’s Your Fantasy,” the LA-based Indie Pop artist says that it’s “A dark, beautiful exploration into pleasure and the way that is often associated with joy or obsessive overindulgence. The song is a loving tribute to the legacy of our iconic queer, trans, femme community in LA.”
Polartropica was honored as LA Weekly’s Best Indie Pop Band for taking a unique approach in creating ethereal sounds, blending enchanting melodies and dreamy arrangements with captivating vocals.
After a successful US tour and residency at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles, Polartropica had released the debut album Dreams Come True, which opened to raving reviews, earning the up-and-coming star features in NYLON, NPR, Billboard, and LADYGUNN.
