Days ahead of her ‘Motomami’ album release.
Two months ago, she revealed a fragment of just 25 seconds on her social media platforms, which left many shocked by the lyrics.
“I want to ride you, like my bike,” she begins.
In the music video, Rosalía is at her most sensual, introspective and leisurely, unlike her frantic videos for “Saoko” and “Chicken Teriyaki,” the previous singles she released.
“Hentai” had already been listed as part of the ‘Mami’ part of her new album. “La Fama,” the first video that she released including a collaboration with The Weeknd, is likely also part of the most leisurely section of the album.
Rosalía, who appears in fragments of the video stretched out in her underwear on a bed with white sheets, is the only subject. Here, there are no dancers, motorcycles or complex choreographies: everything revolves around her power in front of the camera and her unique staging.
