In “Tears on the Dancefloor,” UPSAHL blends her signature sultry vocals with a nostalgic nod to Timbaland-era Nelly Furtado. The track is an anthem for those moments of personal liberation and heartbreak recovery, delivered with a blend of raw emotion and danceable beats. The music video, brimming with intense energy and reminiscent of the Blade dance scenes, enhances the song’s message of reclaiming one’s spirit.

“Tears on the Dancefloor” is about feeling mysterious while being vulnerable and emotional at the same time. It was inspired by those nights out that sometimes end in tears—to be honest, that shit feels like free therapy. When we made this song, we had been listening to a lot of Nelly Furtado, so the production was heavily inspired by Timbaland and the overall vibe of the early 2000s. These are my favorite types of songs, the ones that are secretly kind of sad, but can still be played at the afterparty.”

Earlier this summer, UPSAHL delighted fans with her hit “Summer So Hot,” a quintessential summer anthem featuring breezy vocals and an infectious electro bassline. The song has been a staple on SiriusXM’s Hits 1 and has resonated strongly across the country.

The upcoming Melt Me Down tour follows a successful stint opening for Madison Beer’s The Spinnin’ Tour and a series of headlining European shows. UPSAHL’s previous works, including her critically acclaimed debut Lady Jesus and the recent The PHX Tapes, showcase her versatility and commanding presence as a performer.

With a reputation for high-octane shows and an impressive range of musical talents, UPSAHL continues to cement her place as a pop powerhouse. Fans can look forward to a dynamic live experience as she brings her unique blend of energy and artistry to venues worldwide.
