Halle Bailey Unveils Emotionally Charged Single “In Your Hands”

Amid eager anticipation, Halle Bailey has finally dropped her latest single, “In Your Hands,” under the labels Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records.

The track, a devotional ballad, features a warm piano complemented by ethereal electric guitar, setting the stage for Halle’s exploration of enduring love. Through metaphorical lyrics like “I’m the bandage for you when you’re bleedin’ out,” she underscores the protective and profound nature of their connection.

“‘In Your Hands’ is an incredibly special song to me,” Halle shares. “It’s basically a message about fighting for a love that you know is an incredibly beautiful one-of-a-kind love, but also a reminder to that special someone that your love has changed their life and is something they won’t experience in this lifetime again.”

Co-written by Halle and Feli Ferraro, the track arrives alongside a heartfelt video directed by Anastasia Delmark. Halle initially teased “In Your Hands” on TikTok last March, garnering 3.8 million views and a flurry of requests from fans for its release.

Addressing her fans’ excitement, Halle expressed gratitude in a Snapchat video earlier this month, stating, “You guys have been begging me for this song, and I’m incredibly excited because this has never happened with one of my songs before, where it’s getting this sort of reaction before I even put it out.”

“In Your Hands” marks Halle’s second solo single following 2023’s “Angel,” which earned her a nomination for Best R&B Song at the 66th Grammy Awards. Reflecting on “Angel,” Halle shared its personal significance, describing it as “my climb out of those feelings, a mantra and promise to myself that the work I’m doing here on earth matters and that I matter.”
