Chlöe Bailey has been building anticipation for her debut solo album, In Pieces, since January 24th when it was first announced to drop sometime in March. Since then, she has released two singles, “Pray It Away” and “How Does It Feel.” However, fans were disappointed with the latter as it featured Chris Brown. But now, Chlöe has come bearing good news to offset the negative feedback.

On February 20th, Chlöe confirmed that “In Pieces” will be released on March 31st. She shared an announcement video on Twitter that showcased an unreleased track, with the caption “My tears are like the water. my heart is like the sun. through chaos, beauty grows. there’s power in my pain.”
Recently, Chlöe co-headlined the NBA On TNT American Express Road Show on February 16th in Salt Lake City, Utah, and performed at the NBA All-Star Weekend festivities, culminating in the 2023 NBA All-Star Game on February 19th. During her performance, Chlöe wore a cheerleader’s uniform with “#IN PIECES” written across her chest.
In a fan-captured video, Chlöe revealed to the crowd that she had just turned in her debut album two days prior, saying, “It was the best Valentine’s Day gift to myself because when I was writing this album, I was dealing with too many … and I’m like, ‘You know what, girl? You deserve better than that.’ And instead of trying to get back at them, I’ma just let karma do its thing. I’ma ‘Pray It Away.’”
