Swedish Duo PAPA Sound comes together with Jamaican dancehall and reggae artist Raine Seville for the hybrid single “Come On.” Known for their bass-driven sounds and undeniable talent for mixing dancehall, afrobeat, and reggae tunes together, Patrik Arve and Paolo Albo prove yet again that they’re on their way to becoming one of the most prominent artists of this generation.
Albo and Arve came together in 2020 to form the band PAPA Sound. Both producers have had an incredible solo career, collaborating with local and international artists such as Rawa, Anders Widmark, Helen Sjöholm, Iggy Pop, Annie, Robyn, Mad Cobra, Elephant Man, and Neneh Cherry, Wayne Coyne, Danny English, Ninjaman, Busy Signal, Wilie, Kano, Ghetts, Eve, Beenie man, Daddy Feddy, Spragga Bens, and Red Fox.
The powerful pair, who have received international recognition for their musicality and technicality, have also been praised for addressing topics like social injustice and environmental issues. With songs like “Mannen,” “Discipline Child,” “Everybody Rock,” and the recently released jam “Come On” with Raine Seville, PAPA Sound continue to make a name for themselves in the industry.
