Brandon Flowers Discourages Overthinking on the Killers’ New Single ‘Boy’

The Killers have delivered their new melody “Kid.” According to the band, the tune originates before the 2021 record Pressure Machine and aided roused the material on that collection. The Killers appeared the track at July’s Mad Cool Festival in Madrid. The tune is created by the Killers, Stuart Price, and Shawn Everett. Pay attention to “Kid” beneath.

‘Kid’ comes as a nostalgic cut of exhortation from a hero who has been there and done that. In obvious Killers style, the song of praise floods with a danceable synth-loaded beat as Flowers’ vocals and a run of guitar and console performances add a note of establishing seriousness. While this isn’t anything unique from the American non mainstream bunch, it’s a dependable method for keeping faithful fans hopping at their sold-out field gigs.

“This was the first song written after we had to cancel the Imploding The Mirage tour due to the pandemic,” Flowers says. “I had recently moved back to Utah and started to make trips to Nephi, where I grew up. I found that the place I had wanted to get away from so desperately at 16 was now a place that I couldn’t stop returning to.”
