Kidd Kenn the 19-year-old Chicago sensation who impacted the world forever as the primary out gay male rapper in the 2021 BET Hip-Hop Awards Cipher — observes PRIDE with the selective Complex video debut of “Body,” the principal single from his approaching new EP.
“‘Body’ is a tune intended to cause individuals to feel better about their bodies, to truly relinquish their frailties and feel certain about themselves,” Kenn says of his most current track. “It’s truly about supporting individuals in doing what they believe for themselves should feel as sure as could be expected.”
“Body” is the primary new music from Kidd Kenn since his provocative “B4” (Remix) including Saucy Santana (November 2021). The remix was gone before by the exemplary high energy “Get Lit” (August 2021, included in EA’s Madden 22 videogame soundtrack). Preceding that came the crude and hard-hitting Problem Child (June), a 6-tune EP whose single and video discharges traversed almost a year: “Free-form,” Kenn’s viral collaboration with Delli Boe; “Gold Digger” highlighting Dess Dior (watch video here); “Moves” highlighting Rico Nasty (which was matched up in the Apple Watch Series 6 web-based promotion); and “Great Day.”
