Dermot Kennedy has shared his new single “Something To Someone.” The melody denotes his most memorable delivery since his Top 20 UK hit, “More promising times,” which came out last July.
In a proclamation about the tune, Kennedy expounded on the melody’s importance, saying it’s “To be something to somebody. To cherish and be adored in kind. What an encouraging idea it is to realize that regardless you persevere, regardless of how forlorn the world might appear, you’re still at the forefront of someone’s thoughts. It is the main thing. I believe this melody should be a suggestion to whoever hears it that they are cherished.”
